One of my favorite sections in the bible is in Proverbs chapter 3. I've been endeavoring for a long time on working the section on 'not leaning to my own understanding' . Plus if Christ doesn't come back for a decade or two or more, then I want to live as long as possible, in good health.

This section of scripture, along with others promises good health, long life and other benefits when we keep our hearts turned towards Him. Here are a few verses along these lines.

What's our purpose here on earth? That is the question many folks have had at one time or another in their life. Some pose that question to themselves when they are in their early twenties, some are only out to 'find' theirselves not realizing they are not alone in their quest. Others do their searching when they are much older, maybe some not at all.
