Make Known God's Deeds

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Thursday, October 29, 2009, In : stewardship
Psalm 105:1-9
O Give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

He is the Lord our God: his judgmen...

Another Study on Wholeness (not done yet)

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, In : Wholeness
I'm sure there are many Greek words used for wholeness, I just happened to find this one as I was remembering a verse and looked up which word of the two I've blogged on already it was and found out that it was neither of them. It was a different Greek word entirely.

From the Young's/Strong's numbering system, numbers 3646, 3647, 3648, 3650 3651. I have to do more studying on this, but I think they all stem from the same root word.

3646 Holokautoma is used as burnt offering 1; whole burnt offer...

Studying a bit about Salvation and Wholeness

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, In : stewardship
In the past when I've studied salvation and wholeness I was thinking it utilized the same Greek word sozo, which means wholeness in all categories. Spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, etc. Tonight while taking a look at the word used in Philippians 2:12 that I'm taking a look at and studying for my stewardship blog, I see where a different Greek word is used.

It is the word soleria. It is basically defined two ways in the Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible,  copyright in ...

God's Mercy Endures Forever

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Saturday, October 10, 2009, In : God's Mercy
I'm so very thankful that God's mercy endures forever. I've been 'under the weather' as it's said in many parts of the nation from time to time. We all go through ups and downs in life and sometimes the downs last longer than we want or expect them to. Just know however you may be down during a fragment of time (in God's eyes), He is still there for you every step of the way.

Psalm 136:1-26
O Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God o...

I'm sure thankful the Lord knows the way through the wilderness and is willing, and able to lead us.

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Sunday, September 20, 2009, In : God's Love
God's love for us is so awesome, but not only that, His love in general is awesome, and everlasting to everlasting. He loves the unlovable, we could say it's unfortunate that we've been, or are in that category from time to time. On the other hand, He has made a way for us to escape the loneliness, fear, addictions, what have you, to live in His green pastures. Before we believed we were unbelievers, like many others about us, possibly even our loved ones in the same room.

God is able to allo...

A Section (of many) About Prosperity and other thoughts

Posted by Marsha Musselman on Saturday, September 19, 2009, In : Prosperity
In a booklet that Suzi John put out last year, titled: Living Your Life In God's Prosperity. In one of the sections, chapter 2 - if you own the booklet- she discusses how the first thing we as believers need to do is put God first. So from this section, I'd like to share the verses that she did, although I'll use the KJV as that is close to me.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14:
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his comma...
