This started off as a blog on blogger, then I brought it to this site as a blog, but have since decided it might be easier to read if written as an article rather than a blog.

I'm in the process of revamping this site. I'd like it to contain several ways
a person can improve the quality of their lives. Not only improving themselves
spiritually with learning more of God's word, but also ways we all can improve
our physical well-being.
Mankind was originally designed to be a person of body, soul and spirit. It is
important for all of us to improve the quality of our life in all different
categories.
Stewardship is a form of maintenance, we are not surprised that we need to maintain things like our cars in order for them to keep working properly. Therefore maintenance and stewardship is an important part of not only our sound
minds but it should also be important to us to take care of the things we
utilize in our lives.
Years ago I began to study stewardship, God wants all of us to be faithful and wise stewards. Stewardship involves many aspects, which we will hopefully get into as this article progresses. Some folks are quite involved in certain aspects of stewarding different parts of their lives, yet other things that need good stewardship fall apart around them.
In the KJV of the Bible, in Luke 12:42 it reads:
And the Lord said, Who
then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his
household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
Some may question
my decision to include stewardship of the things we own into this site, which
will hopefully contain more Biblical truths than anything else. So my answer is
that life is a balance. God's heart is that we take care of the things within
our power to steward. Again in the KJV, Luke 16:11 states:
If therefore ye have
not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the
true riches?
All of life is a balance, learning the balance is one of the many keys in life. I hope to share with you keys to stewarding the things around you, along with ways to not condemn yourself when you realize you've messed up, to not being anxious about your stewardship, or lack thereof even when it seems to take you forever to learn how to do it correctly.
